Afomi is a sole proprietorship that I operate on a very part-time basis. My revenues are quite modest, typically less than $5,000.
Yet, there is overhead to running a business, and I will be outlining how I keep records at Afomi.
So, I track:
- Clients
- Projects
- Website Traffic with Google Analytics
- Webhosting with Dreamhost
- Finances with Google Spreadsheets
- Invoices & Accounts Receivable with Blinksale
My revenue is in the form of:
- monthly website services $50/month from 2 clients
- website design work
- computer repair work
My expenses are:
- web hosting
- domain names
- gas & travel
- educational materials
- business license fictitious business name
