As MoreQuality searches for an identity and funding, I've been pursuing the route of a nonprofit. Transparency is built into the fabric of MoreQuality. We will be posting updates of discovery, adventure, challenges, and opportunities along the way. These sites have been particularly useful so far. citimedia ca.gov irs.gov public counsel - - Digging into the 501(c)(3) code, it is specifically a "charitable" organizations. So, MoreQuality may fall more squarely into the 501(c)(4) aka "Public Benefit" organization. Unfortunately, donations to 501(c)(4) are not tax deductible. So, I have scheduled a mentoring session with The Nonprofit Center for Success in hopes of a getting a better feel for where MoreQuality will thrive.
