Openness and New Economics

As social media permeates culture, an expectation of openness becomes the norm. Agencies (and people) that are not transparently open online will suffer a lack of trust, generally speaking. People are becoming accustomed to interacting with virtual representations of others (posts, chats, websites, kiosks, attendants).

Economic leverage points will be transformed. As sharing becomes the norm, the U.S. current economic models and balances will also change. We need to shift thinking toward quality of life for all, over time, as opposed to short term wealth. Our greatest human achievement can be the security of prosperity for as many as possible, with as much leisure as possible.
