JTA Solano Joint Transportation Authority is planning to expand the park & ride parking facility in Fairfield (near Target, McDonalds, and Smart & Final). The expansion project will create 1,000 additional parking spaces. The estimated cost of the project is $16,000,000. I'd like to konw the current usage statistics, perhaps link to source documents. FOIA? What is the cost per space? And the return on investment? $16,000,000 / 1,000 spaces = $16,000 per space How would we go about evaluating the usage? What is the ongoing maintenance involved? Re-paving, greenery, cleanup, security, lighting, power, advertising, etc. Are there alternatives? Additional commentary for users. 821 Texas St - George Guynn The City of Fairfield paid $800,000 for a property (which one?) as a redevelopment project, and sold it a few years later for $400,000. The cost of planning and work put into the abandoned site must also be considered. Taxpayer History Latest military vs public salary figures Barry Polk - Citizen's Oversight Committee
