I like Sankey Diagrams. The flow of one resource to another is displayed in naturally, in a way that is easy to understand,r elate to, and take meaningful action upon.

If I can see many flows in a complex system, I may be able t o optimize one or more of the flows to achieve a desired outcome. For example, a desired outcome could be the increase or decrease of a final flow: more profit. less bugs.
