JRuby Notes Notes about using JRuby for the first time. I've got a Rails 3.0.7 app up on Windows and am trying to get it to work with JRuby, so it actually performs. Here are the steps: 1. download JRuby from JRuby.org > Downloads http://jruby.org.s3.amazonaws.com/downloads/1.6.1/jruby-src-1.6.1.zip 1. extract to c:\jruby-1.6.1 note: the \bin directory should be located directly under, ie: c:\jruby-1.6.1\bin

add c:\jruby-1.6.1\bin to the Windows PATH environment variable

note: you should be able to get a version from the command line, using jruby -v 1. open a command prompt and cd to your Rails app ie: c:\RI\apps\Rails-Demo-App 1. modify the Gemfile (under the directory above). add the following: gem 'activerecord-jdbcmssql-adapter' gem 'activerecord-jdbc-adapter' 1. from the command prompt: jruby -S gem install bundle 1. again. jruby -S bundle install note: make sure the Gemfile.lock is deleted (or you may get errors) to install the gems specified in the Gemfile this should install the gems above my Gemfile also included gem 'rails', '~>3.0.4' # framework so... Rails 3.0.7 (most current) was installed as well

Tips go directly to a Bitcoin SV address I control — peer to peer, no platform in between. A few thousand satoshis is a fraction of a cent; it's the gesture that counts.

From any BSV wallet

Scan the QR code with your wallet's camera, or copy the address.

With HandCash or any paymail wallet

Paymail is an email-style address for Bitcoin wallets. Send any amount to afomi@handcash.io

First time using Bitcoin? Yours Wallet is an open-source browser extension wallet, and HandCash is an easy mobile wallet — either takes a minute to set up.
