Steve,

The latest list of fields has been updated on the wiki, and should match http://api.wepublic.org/admin/tables

Phil and Ryan, note: http://www2.ntia.doc.gov/SBDD They will have 50 states plus territories crowd sourcing among other things "community anchor institutions" and what kind of broadband connection they have. This implies that they have/will compile much of the same core information we envision with DemocracyMap and they could potentially add some fields like web address and perhaps others we might suggest that make sense for their broadband map.

Ryan, could you share our latest draft list of potential fields.

In terms of general webinars, the theme could be:

Using Broadband to Strengthen Local Communities: Citizen Engagement with Government and Neighbor to Neighbor Connections for Community Building

It would mix together some of this: http://www.slideshare.net/netclift/future-is-now-online-engagement-for-democracy-and-community Jump to slide 24 ...

And this: http://blog.e-democracy.org/posts/845

It would be helpful to know if an honorarium is available (not required assuming this introduces us to future opportunities with your grantees) or the proposed timing so I can figure out what is possible with my calendar.

I look forward to reviewing your materials.

Cheers, Steven Clift E-Democracy.org

Thanks for the phone call. I’m going to go ahead and pass your information along to my colleagues at the FCC (I think I neglected to mention that we are working on this together). They will set up the logistics to walk through the National Broadband Map user cases next week. I’ve attached a pdf of the 30 basic requirements that the map must meet, this is a public document, but I separated it from the full rfq. I think I also forget to mention that in addition to the 5 year collection for the data, the map rfq is also for a 5 year period with development cycles happening in an agile approach (i.e. we can tweak and improve it for the next 5 years also). If you have any more questions on this please don’t hesitate to contact me.

As for a future webinar, we are finalizing our dates and topics soon. I think you’d be a great person to speak with our grantees about Local and Regional Planning teams and also the Gov 2.0. group as well. The table below represents the kinds of State Broadband Leadership projects we funded. Here is the link to Minnesota’s Grantee page https://www2.ntia.doc.gov/grantee/connected-nation-minnesota

You were going to send me info on Democracy Map, the list of characteristics you are interested in for community anchor/local, and the Kenya slides (am I missing anything?). Finally my personal e-mail address is Andrew@iamamacrae.com
