Redundant jobs

I studied Public Administration, while I was working in Public Administration. I was studying theory, background, and more theory. Work was both more simple and richer than the education.

My job, from the Auditor's Office, was to support the tools agencies use to design and execute workflows.

This taste of automation in the early 2000's left me with the impression that work would be radically simplified and improved.

The awkward conversation is that being explicit about some jobs indicate overstaffing. With automation, we can cut workload by 50%.

There seems to be an obligation to maintain the position as-is, rather than refactoring the organization accordingly [1].
