I try a lot of different methods and approaches when it comes to organizing information. Recently, I've been using what I call `Work Tags`. ### What is a Work Tag? A Work Tag is just a Post-it. For me, I use a bright-orange color of Post-it, and I reserve that color just for Work Tags. Using a single, consistent color allows me to associate at a glance. Additional meaning is added when I use a Work Tag. ### Format of the Work Tag I use a list of Hashtags to describe `what` the item is and keywords to retrieve it later (perhaps via an augmented reality interface). Plus a text field for a time estimate. A sample Work Tag looks like: ``` #reference #software #living-systems ``` or ``` #reading #natural-philosophy 4 hours ```
