Sharing a SSH Key between computers

draft
Date: 2013-08-24
Tags: note programming

A ssh service provider requires a public key stored in a specified location on their service.

I generated 2 files, a .pub file and one without an extension, using "ssh-keygen -t"

The one without an extension should have permissions of 600. Use the terminal commnand 'chmod 600 id_rsa' to set the proper permissions.
