I've been working with Beth Martin and [Basil White](http://basilwhite.com/ivn/) on Integrated Value Modeling, or IVM. IVM is a type of value stream mapping, where the focus is mapping how strategic efforts aligned across an organization (and into its ecosystem). Connections are made between organizational management and planning documents (called "P5") and their programs. * Policies * Plans * Priorities * Programs * Performance For example, a strategic planning document might reference: achieve this outcome by 2025. * Well, how is that outcome being achieved? * What part of the organization manages it? * What is the performance? * How does its operations impact other parts of the organization (or beyond)? We presented a poster at the Information Architecture Conference 2021. <img src="https://afomi.s3.amazonaws.com/blog/ivm/integrated-value-modeling.png" style="max-width: 100%;" /> * [.pdf version](https://afomi.s3.amazonaws.com/blog/ivm/integrated-value-modeling.pdf) * [.png version](https://afomi.s3.amazonaws.com/blog/ivm/integrated-value-modeling.png) Consider joining the conversation on the [IVM LinkedIn Group](https://www.linkedin.com/groups/13929142/).
