I discovered Blender in 2014. An open-source 3d modeling tool, when I using Sketchup. I downloaded Blender, opened it, bumbled around, felt intimidated, and promptly closed it 3 or 4 times in the last few years. Knowing I wanted to learn the tool, to use it to be more visually expressive. I particularly like the "low-poly" style exemplified by Schwartz, Reynolds, and Chahin. Recently, I decided to overcome the initial dip of inertia and complete the following tutorial. Of course, it took about twice as long as I hoped. https://cgi.tutsplus.com/tutorials/secrets-to-creating-low-poly-illustrations-in-blender--cg-31770 Not having a keypad/mouse slowed me up a bit
