this week, i want to try to focus on a couple things. i want to do the following: [ ] meditate for 15 minutes every day [ ] digitize as much information as possible [ ] write for 5 minutes every day - stream consciousness # digitize as much information as possible Too often, I find myself processing little bits of paper too much. Because a pencil feels more natural to me, I feel more expressive with a pencil than I do typing. I draw a lot, so text becomes very limiting when I primarily think in spatial, visual ways. So, I've been continually working on, and frankly, struggling with spending too much time thinking about work, or processing work, rather than simple getting to work, and doing work, doing. The next steps appear to be developing a strategy and destination for all this content. The most sensible thing to do seems to be to post it online, in a way that makes sense for me in both private and public contexts. For example, I have a Portfolio folder that needs to be processed. The next steps should be to go through the folder, and for each piece, post a photo, or a working digital copy online. I really like the idea of having my page like a cartoonish, digital version of myself, with a picture and attribute points - +10 civic points +10 common sense +6 time estimate +3 sales +8 full stack develop +10 product management +10 workflow. I also like having the idea of chronology built-into the interface, sorta like the facebook timeline. The goal, is to store the information in an intuitive, useful way that maximizes its value for me. Posting the items to my website at afomi.com. ryanwold.net or ryan.wold.me should a humanized version of my profile, while afomi.com will serve as my digital identity.
