One of the most challenging aspects of DemocracyMap is keeping information from 35,000 local jurisdictions up-to-date and accurate, when no authoritative source exists. I finally had a chance to get into ScraperWiki, and it didn't take me long to get some interesting results. It seems stitching a model together might strike the right balance between crowd-sourced and authoritative.
