Cryptocurrency is held in a Wallet. A Wallet is generated with a very large random number, which itself, can be generated by a mnemonic, or a "seed phrase", which is a combination of 12, or sometimes 24 words. From the random seed, more than 2 Billion addresses (2,147,483,647 or 2^31 addresses) can be created deterministically (meaning, they can reliably be re-created). Each public address is generated using a public + private keypair (or pair of public and private keys). ### Moneybutton The path for Money Button is: m/44'/0'/0' > Money Button wallets cannot be synchronized in other wallet applications because the other wallet software will generated internal addresses that are not seen by Money Button.
